UAE Will Close BlackBerry Service
Telecommunications regulators United Arab Emirates (UAE) plans to close several BlackBerry services. This is because the regulator saw the potential that could threaten national security and values social. UAE telecom regulators say they will shut temporarily short message service, e-mail, and web browsing from the upcoming October 11, 2010. They calculate, these devices serve services that do not comply with applicable laws from the release in this country.
Moreover, it automatically sends data to the BlackBerry server abroad actually prohibited by applicable law in the UAE. The regulator admitted it difficult to monitor what users do and say by the BlackBerry. Unfortunately, the regulators cannot reach an agreement with Research in Motion on this matter.
